At first, the icon was located in the Local Church of the Koretsky Princes and was considered their family relic. And from the 17th century, the image is kept in the Holy Resurrection Koretsky Monastery - he took him a need for a needle of Seraphim (she also princed Koretskaya).

But this image also has more, additional meaning: the word "sporchitsa" is translated as a "guarantor". That is, sinners appeal to this image, asking to vouch for them in front of the Lord. The Mother of God will stand for everyone. It can also be seen by the way the Son of God keeps his mother for his hand, thereby showing that he listens to her, and for the good expression of the Savior and the Virgin. The crowns on the heads of the mother and the Son indicate their power.
What are she praying about?
- About strengthening faith in difficult life circumstances.
- About healing from severe illness. As many people are known, suffering in prison, many people can start graying on the Lord. The same thoughts arise in people often seeing hospitals, and for a long time in them, patients who suffer from painful symptoms and inappropriate (and morally) treatment. Such Vraians will be doubly helpful: the body will strengthen, and the faith will strengthen.
- With repentance. The sporchinge is asked to let sins, clean the soul.
